Automatic door industry promotion Analysis

With the rapid advance of China's urban construction, a variety of large buildings such as hotels , airports , office buildings, recreational facilities and other places continue to emerge, revolving doors , automatic doors and other categories of industries increasingly wide range of applications , which means people on the categories of products are increasingly high requirements. Such as revolving doors, automatic doors exterior design and practicality. Speed and security, and to facilitate people with disabilities to use the revolving door , fire facilities , etc., which gives a higher category of industry requirements.
However, our industry categories from the start to develop only a few years old , although the market is developing very rapidly, but the revolving door , automatic door industry is still in disorderly competition , there is no uniform technical standards and access system , but also inevitably a variety of security risks, the country once many incidents occurred automatic doors revolving doors or pinching , butt accident. In contrast, Europe , America, Australia , Japan and other countries have their own revolving door , automatic door products using standard , effectively reducing the revolving door, automatic doors wounding accident.
Although the domestic market is developing very fast categories , but the industry seems to be the edge of the door industry , there has been no national standards related to the revolving door technology, this problem will soon be solved , it is understood , it is automatic bypass doors , revolving doors overall security design and engineering industry need to be applied , but also to better regulate the industry in design and production and engineering construction safety , China's construction industry association standard automatic doors shortly enabled.
Automatic doors ,  door works although the proportion of investment in the building is small, but in everyday use and management of the building it occupies a very important position , is an important indicator of the level of building intelligence , from the construction side, automatic doors is more complex and comprehensive work , it decoration , interior decoration , strong, weak , Lou word controlled, even closely related to the fire protection system. More importantly, the installation of automatic doors is usually in late renovation of the building , if the project coordination negative, may affect the overall project schedule. Because the state of the revolving door of product quality , safety, energy efficiency, noise, construction quality , service and there is no uniform standard , all of the domestic construction industry are not relevant professional institutions or courses , there is no authoritative advisory body , wide market the management is still in a state of disorder.
Therefore , every year , there will be exhibitions category. This not only gives exhibitors an opportunity , but also to many categories of industries for interested agents an opportunity to understand the standard categories. This is more conducive to the development categories. Of course , in addition to have carried out annually , we also need to make propaganda for the show this time is bound to use the network , which is one of the ways the marketing tools category. I hope that in the future can be seen in the categories of domestic brand in the world.

Magnetic Lock Vs. Electronic Strike

o    A magnetic lock, or mag lock, consists of a large magnet that is installed along the top of a door frame. A metal plate, or armature plate, is fastened to the door so it lines up with the magnet. When electrical power is supplied to the magnet, it creates a magnetic charge that keeps the magnet tightly pressed to the metal plate. This keeps the door securely locked until power is removed or interrupted.
An electric strike must be used along with some other form of locking device, such as a lockset or exit device (panic bar). Electrical power is supplied to the strike, which holds the lock bolt in place, keeping the door locked until the strike is activated by a buzzer, keycard or other device.
2.      Function
o    With a magnetic lock, the door is always locked from both sides of the opening. This makes mag locks a very secure option for areas that require high levels of security. Users must activate the lock with a keycard or other device when leaving and when entering. A handle or latchset is used to operate the door, but typically has no locking function.
Electric locks provide security only for the exterior side of the door. Occupants can freely exit at anytime from inside the building simply by turning the knob or handle, or by depressing the pad on the exit device. From the outside, the door can only be unlocked with a keycard or other activating device, which signals the strike to release the lock bolt.
3.      Considerations
o    All electrical hardware can be described as either "fail-safe" or "fail-secure." Fail-safe hardware stays locked when power to the hardware is cut, keeping the building secure. Fail-secure hardware unlocks once power is cut, allowing for safe egress of occupants. A magnetic lock is always fail-safe, and unlocks automatically if power is cut. Electric strikes can typically be set to either of these two options using an integral switch. All fire-rated doors must be equipped with fail-safe hardware for safe egress at all times.
Benefits
o    Because a magnetic lock is installed on the face of the automatic sliding door and frame, it can be installed relatively easily by most contractors. It is one of the most effective types of hardware for securing both sides of a door, and provides a great door of force to keep the door secure.

Electric strikes are usually more affordable than magnetic locks, making them a good choice for building managers on a budget. It is also easier in general to meet fire and life safety codes with an electric strike than with a mag lock. An electric strike is much less likely to delay egress because it can be easily operated from the inside of the building.
Drawbacks
o    Magnetic locks are among the more expensive types of door hardware. They are also fairly easy for burglars to beat, because they will no longer keep the door locked if the power is cut. Finally, these locks pose a potential safety hazard in terms of slowing egress during an emergency.

How to Properly Inspect the Auto Reverse on Garage Doors

o    1
Open the garage door. Stand near the edge of the garage door, where the optical sensors are located. Do block the optical sensors.
o    2
Close the garage door, and step between the optical sensors to break the sensor connection as the door lowers. The garage door should immediately reverse when you walk under the garage door. If the garage door does not auto reverse, refer to your owner's manual and verify that the sensors are correctly connected to the power head. Contact the garage door manufacturer if the sensors are connected properly and do not function.
o    3
Open the garage door. Place the 2-by-4 on the garage floor, directly below the garage door, with the 4-inch-wide side of the board resting flat on the floor. Make sure the board does not interfere with the optical sensors that you checked in step 2.

o    4
Close the garage door. Begin counting seconds when the garage door touches the 2-by-4. If the garage door opener does not auto reverse within 2 seconds, open the garage door. Adjust the applied force sensor per the garage door manufacturer's instructions, reducing the amount of pressure required to reverse the door. Re-test the garage door. Continue the process until the garage door opener auto reverses within 2 seconds.
o    5
Remove the board from beneath the garage door. Close the garage door. While the garage door is closing, hold on to one of the door's braces. Try to keep the electric door from closing--this will test the applied-force sensor at a point other than closed. If you cannot make the door auto reverse before you lose your grip, lower the adjustment on the applied-force sensor.
o    6
Re-test the garage door. If the applied force sensor is set to low, the garage door will not seat properly. Adjust the applied force sensor as needed. Repeat steps 4 and 5, ensuring the sensor operates at a safe level.

How Do Sliding Glass Door Locks Work?

Clasp lock

·         Most standard sliding glass doors latch shut with a clasp lock. A small lever on the door will move a clasp mechanism inside the door shaft. The door frame is outfitted with a hole that holds a small bar where the clasp will be attached. When the door lever is turned, the clasp will usually reach out and upward, hooking itself on the small bar inside the door frame's opening.

Cylinder lock

·         Higher-quality security, such as cylinder locks, are also an option with sliding glass doors. Cylinder locks can usually only be locked shut or opened with a key. With these types of locks, the key is inserted into a cylinder which has a lever attached to the middle or end. The lever moves out and upward, again hooking onto a stationery bar in the door frame to keep it locked shut.

Foot bolt

·         Foot bolts are small, square devices that are screwed into the upper or lower corner of the door. The inside of the foot bolt is filled with a spring activated bolt. When the door is open, the spring is coiled tight and the bolt withdrawn, allowing for the door to slide in its tracks. When the foot bolt is engaged, a small button is usually depressed that uncoils the spring and juts the bolt into the door frame, stopping the door from sliding in its tracks. These can be used in combination with other locking devices.

Security bar

·         A sliding glass door security bar sits in the bottom track when the door is shut, blocking the door's path so it cannot slide open. It can be as elaborate as a metal bar with springs and stoppers on its ends that is tightly lodged into place. It can also be as simple as a board, mop handle or other long, sturdy device that is the right length to stop the door from sliding open on its tracks.
